Thanks to Our Supporters
Care at St. Luke Community Clinic is made possible by our local doctors, nurses, and clerical volunteers who unselfishly donate their time and talents. We are grateful for the hundreds of thousands of dollars in free prescription medications that are supplied by pharmaceutical companies, doctor's offices and Lester's Pharmacy. We are thankful to Warren Memorial Hospital who provides many services, "free" to our patients. Our gratitude goes out to the many supporters in our community who give their hard earned dollars to help support the clinic. We are also thank ful to the Virginia Health Care Foundation and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield for funding our Nurse Practitioner Program.
Since November 1996, St. Luke Community Clinic has provided primary health care to eligible uninsured residents of Front Royal and Warren County. SLCC has provided primary care to more than 3,500 patients representing 10,000 patient visits. Last year alone (2002), SLCC provided more than $1.2 million in health care on a $127,000 budget. That translates to $9.47 in health care for every dollar the clinic receives.
