Services
We provide two types of service, funded by the Virginia Health Care Foundation and Anthem. Day services with our Nurse Practitioners and on thursday evenings with our volunteer providers. For our Thursday evening clinic our doors open at 5:00 p.m. The patients are then screened for eligibility and the enrollment process begins. If the client is eligible, the next step is having a nurse check all the vital signs. The last step is seeing the doctor. Day Clinic is for the treatment of chronic illness including Diabetes, Hypertension, Heart Disease and other ongoing illness by appointment only Monday through Wednesday. Patients requiring specialized services are referred to the University of Virginia - a two-hour trip by car. We also offer a Everywomen's Life Clinic. Free Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening program for women between 50 and 64 who meet eligibility guidelines.Call SLCC for more information 540-636-4325 ext. 224.
